One of my favorite air fryer recipes is for crispy and flavorful Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. These bites are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or even as a side dish for your favorite meal. They’re crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a tangy buffalo sauce that packs a punch of flavor. Plus, they’re healthier than traditional fried cauliflower wings, thanks to the magic of the air fryer!
Ingredients:
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the flour mixture.
- Arrange the coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching or overlapping.
- Air fry the cauliflower for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, in a separate bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce and melted butter until well combined.
- Once the cauliflower is done cooking, transfer it to a large mixing bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the top. Toss the cauliflower gently until it is evenly coated in the sauce.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer basket and air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
- Remove the cauliflower from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
- Serve the Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Bites hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy the crunchy, spicy goodness!
