- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp paprika

- Trim the ham in order to fit it inside your crock pot. Combine the melted butter and honey to massage into the ham between the slices. Replace the cover and cook on low for five to six hours.
- At 5 to 5 1/2 hours Preheat the broiler to high. Line a deep roasting pan with heavy aluminum foil. Transfer the ham from the slow cooker into the foiled roasting pan.
- Combine sugar, seasoned salt, onion powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cloves, paprika and allspice into a small bowl. Pat half of this sugar mixture over the top of the ham inside the roasting pan.

Tips:
- If the ham doesn’t fit in the crockpot, trimming a little bit off the edges may just barely allow it to fit.
- Before cooking the ham, pat the ham dry with a paper towel. This will prevent the butter and honey from just sliding off the top of the ham.
- Make sure this is a precooked or smoked ham, if it isn’t adjust the cooking times according to the directions on the ham.
- If you can’t use ham juices for the glaze, try water or bourbon. Bourbon can be very delicious in this recipe and the alcohol evaporates off in the cooking process.
- If you don’t have a crockpot, you can bake the ham covered loosely in aluminum foil in the oven. To do that Preheat the oven to 275 degrees and bake for 15 minutes per pound at a minimum. Then follow the glaze directions in the recipe and broil.
- Store all leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use within four days. If you have a lot of leftover ham. you can freeze leftovers in zip lock bags or vacuum sealed bags for later use.
